Pacific Crest Trail

Okay kiddo, do you know what a trail is? It's like a path for walking or hiking in the mountains or forests. Well, the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a super long trail that runs all the way from Mexico to Canada, which means it goes from one country to another!

People can walk or hike on the PCT and it takes a really long time, like a few months. Along the way, they'll see all kinds of cool things like mountains, lakes, forests, and wildlife like deer and bears (but don't worry, they'll be careful and follow safety rules).

The PCT is special because it goes through three states: California, Oregon, and Washington. It's also part of something called the "Triple Crown" of hiking, which means that people who complete the PCT, along with two other super long trails, get a special award.

So, the PCT is a really long trail that goes from Mexico to Canada and is famous for its breathtaking scenery and being part of the Triple Crown of hiking. Cool, huh?
