Phase-out of fossil fuels

Hi there little buddy! Today we're going to talk about something called "phase-out of fossil fuels."

So, you know how we use things like oil, gas, and coal to make electricity and power things like cars? Those things are called fossil fuels, and they come from things that used to be alive a really long time ago.

The problem with using so much fossil fuel is that it can actually hurt the Earth. We call this "pollution." We don't want to hurt the Earth because it's our home and we want to take good care of it.

So, a lot of people are working on finding new ways to make energy that don't use so much fossil fuel. We call these "clean energy" sources like solar panels and wind turbines.

The "phase-out of fossil fuels" just means that we want to use less and less of those things that hurt the Earth over time. It takes a long time to make this happen because we still need energy to do important things, but by slowly using more clean energy and less fossil fuels, we can help take better care of our planet.
