Picture archiving and communication system

Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) are like like a big online filing cabinet for storing medical images. Doctors and other medical staff can use them to store pictures taken during medical exams like X-rays, MRIs and CT scans, so that they can look at the pictures from different computers. This makes it easier for doctors to share images with each other and with their patients. It also saves space because all the images are stored in one place instead of lots of different filing cabinets.
