Pluralistic Ignorance is when a group of people each believe they think differently than the group as a whole. They may not express their real opinions or beliefs, because they think everyone else in the group feels differently. For example, if you look around at a party and you see everyone is having a good time, you might think that you are the only one not enjoying it, even if nobody else is having a good time. You would have Pluralistic Ignorance if you pretended to be having a good time, even though you weren’t, because you thought you were the only one.
