Plutocracy is when the wealthiest people in a society have a lot of control or power. It's like a special club that only the richest people can join. In plutocracy, these wealthy people get to decide things like who can have a job, how much people get paid for those jobs, and what laws the country will follow. The wealthy people usually use their power and money to get what they want and stay in control.
