Poka-yoke

Poka-yoke is a way to prevent people from making mistakes when they are working. It can be something like a button on a machine that has to be pressed before the machine will start. This button is called a poka-yoke device.

Let's say you wanted to make sure you don't accidentally forget to put on a seatbelt in a car. You might have a poka-yoke device that beeps loudly until you click your seatbelt. This will remind you to put it on before you start driving.

Basically, poka-yoke is a system that helps keep us safe and makes sure we don't make mistakes by accident. It can be found in lots of different situations from fixing cars to working in a factory, all to try and make sure we don't get hurt or make mistakes.
