Political asylum

Political asylum is like when someone is having a problem in their own home country and needs to find somewhere else to live. If they can prove that they face danger or serious harm if they stay in their home country, they can apply to be a refugee in another country. If they are accepted as a refugee, they get political asylum, which means they can stay in the new country without worrying about being sent back to their home country.
