Pollinators are animals like bees, birds, and butterflies that help flowers and plants make fruit and vegetables. They do this by collecting pollen (which is like the plant's seeds) and taking it to other flowers and plants to help them grow.
Unfortunately, in recent years, the number of pollinators has been declining. This happens when pollinators don't have enough food to eat, or when their habitats (where they live) are destroyed by things like deforestation and building. When there are fewer pollinators, fewer plants and flowers can make food for us to eat.
