Positioning technologies

Positioning technologies are tools used to help us understand where we are in the world. This can include things like GPS (Global Positioning System), which is a system of satellites in space that can help you figure out your location. It works by the satellites sending signals to your device, and your device calculates how far away each of those satellites are. By analyzing the distance to each of the satellites, it can figure out where exactly you are. That way, you can use GPS to find your way around.
