ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Private security

Private security is like having your own superhero to protect you and your things.

Remember how you have a teacher in school to keep you safe, but also sometimes your parents take you places and watch over you so you don't get hurt or lose anything? That's similar to private security - but instead of parents, it's people who work for a company that you or someone else hires to protect people, buildings, businesses, and other important things.

Private security guards can help protect your home or business from bad guys or strangers. Just like how police officers watch over us in the neighborhood or city, private security guards watch over specific areas or things like cars, buildings, and valuable items. They make sure everything stays in place and try to prevent any bad things from happening.

Private security can also include cameras, alarms, and other special tools that tell the guards when something looks unusual or suspicious. These tools help keep an extra eye on things and keep everyone safe.

In short, private security is like having your own personal superhero or a special team watching over you, your home or your business to make sure you're safe and nothing gets hurt or lost.
