Rassenschande

Rassenschande means "race defilement" in German. It was a law in Nazi Germany that made it illegal for people to have relationships or marriages with people of other "races". This law was used to stop people from different ethnic or religious backgrounds from forming relationships, and to try and enforce the Nazi beliefs in a “pure" Aryan race. It was meant to restrict freedom of relationships and to keep people from a certain race or ethnicity from being accepted in German society.
