Anti-miscegenation laws

Anti-miscegenation laws were laws that prevented people from different races from getting married. It was illegal for people of different racial backgrounds to marry each other. These laws were in place in the United States for many years and were only overturned in 1967. These laws were wrong and unfair because people should be able to love who they want, no matter what race they are.
