ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Rayon

Rayon is a type of fabric that is made from chemicals. The chemicals are mostly from trees that are cut down and then turned into a mushy substance called pulp. This pulp is then treated with chemicals and processed into long strands called fibers.

These fibers are then spun into yarn, which can be used to make clothes like shirts, dresses, and pants.

Rayon is very soft and comfortable to wear. It's also lightweight, breathable, and absorbs moisture well, making it a popular choice for summer clothing.

However, it's important to note that producing rayon requires a lot of chemicals and energy, so it's not the most sustainable fabric option.
