Re-edited film

Imagine you drew a very special picture, but then you realize you want to make some changes to it. So, you erase some parts and redraw new ones until you're happy with the new picture. A re-edited film is kind of like that.

Movies are made by recording different scenes with cameras, and then someone puts those scenes together to make the movie. Sometimes, the people who make the movie want to change something in the movie, like a scene that does not make sense or some parts that are too long. So, they take the scenes that they already recorded and then they cut some parts out, add some new parts, or move around some scenes to make the movie better.

When the movie is re-edited, you might see some differences from the original version. There could be new scenes, shortening of some scenes, or even a different ending. Just like your drawing, the re-edited movie is still the same kind of story, but it has been improved to be even better.
