ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Recycling infrastructure

Recycling infrastructure is the way we collect and store things so they can be reused or recycled instead of getting thrown away. Recycling infrastructure can include collection boxes in cities where people can put their recyclable items, or centers dedicated to sorting, crushing and compacting recyclables so they can be turned into new products. When we recycle, we are able to save resources, like tree for paper or oil for plastic. And by recycling, we can reduce the amount of garbage we have to throw away!
