Red wine headache

Okay, kiddo, so sometimes people might get a headache after having red wine. This is called a "red wine headache".

Now, red wine has something called histamines in it. Histamines are like little things that can cause some people to have allergies or reactions. Some people might have a lot of histamines in their body already, so when they have red wine with more histamines, it can cause a headache.

Also, red wine has alcohol in it. Alcohol can sometimes make you dehydrated. Dehydration means your body doesn't have enough water in it, which can make your head hurt too.

So, if you're not used to drinking red wine or you have a sensitivity to histamines or alcohol, it might give you a headache. The best thing to do in this case is to drink plenty of water before and after drinking red wine, and maybe try a different type of wine that doesn't have as many histamines.
