Root cutting

Root cutting is like getting a haircut for the roots of a plant. Just like how you get a haircut to make your hair shorter, sometimes plants need their roots to be cut to make them healthier.

You see, roots are really important for a plant because they help it get water and nutrients from the soil. But sometimes, the roots can get all tangled up and can't work properly. This can make the plant sick or even die!

So, to fix this problem, someone can cut some of the roots to make them less tangled and easier for the plant to use. This is called root cutting.

It's kind of like how you might brush your hair when it's tangled to make it easier to comb. But just like you wouldn't want someone to randomly cut your hair, you have to be really careful when cutting a plant's roots. You only want to cut the roots that are causing problems, and you have to make sure you still leave enough roots behind to keep the plant healthy.

All in all, root cutting is like a little haircut for plants—it can help keep them healthy and happy!
