A Sanhedrin Trial is a court that takes place in the Jewish religion. It is the highest court of justice and is made up of 71 men. It was the court that held a trial for Jesus. During this trial, people who were arguing against Jesus said he was guilty of blasphemy. That means they were saying that he was disrespecting God. Jesus defended himself but the court did not listen. In the end, they declared Jesus guilty and sentenced him to death.
