Satyagraha

Satyagraha is a big word that means standing up for what is right and good, even if it means you might get hurt or punished. It started a long time ago with a man named Gandhi who wanted to help his country, India, become free from a big and powerful country called Britain.

Gandhi taught people that they could use peaceful ways to protest and resist unfair laws and rulers. Instead of fighting back with weapons or anger, they would do things like refuse to obey unjust laws, fast, protest, and march. Satyagraha is a way to resist with love and without harming others.

Gandhi showed that ordinary people could make a difference by standing together and fighting for their rights in a peaceful way. And it worked! After many years, India became free from Britain because of the satyagraha movement. Satyagraha is a powerful way to fight for what is right and fair, and it can still be used today to fight for justice in our world.
