ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Secure by design

Secure by design means creating things (like computer programs, apps and websites) with security built into them as part of their design. It means that organizations ensure their systems are secure from the start of the design process. This means that they consider what security measures they need to put in place before they even start coding or building the system. For example, they might think about the types of data they will be collecting, how it will be stored, and who can access it. Secure by design helps businesses protect the data and people’s privacy.
