Self-made man

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of the phrase "self-made man"? It's a term people use to describe someone who has become successful by working really hard, without a lot of help from others.

Imagine you want to build a tower out of blocks. The blocks are all around you, but you have to figure out how to put them together in just the right way to make your tower tall and strong. That's kind of what it's like to be a self-made man or woman.

A self-made person might start out with not much money or support from others. They might have to work really hard, sometimes for years, to reach their goals. But they don't give up! They keep building their tower, block by block, until it's really tall and strong.

Sometimes, other people try to help a self-made person along the way. They might give advice or offer a few extra blocks to make the tower taller. But the self-made person is the one doing most of the work. They don't rely on others to make their tower strong. They do it themselves.
