Sensors

Sensors are things that help us know what's going on in the world around us. Think of them like super-powered eyes, ears, and noses that tell us about things we can't see or hear or smell all by ourselves.

A sensor might be a tiny chip inside your phone, or it could be a big machine in a factory. No matter what it looks like, its job is to collect information about the world and send it to a computer or another device to help us make decisions.

For example, a sensor can tell us how hot or cold something is by measuring its temperature. It can tell us if something is moving or not by sensing vibrations. It can even tell us if the air is too polluted to breathe by measuring the levels of different gases.

Sensors are all around us, and they're helping us learn more about the world every day. They're like superheroes, but instead of fighting crime, they're fighting ignorance by giving us the information we need to make smart choices.
