Sexual orientation

Sexual orientation means what gender someone is attracted to. For example, some people are only attracted to people of the same gender as themselves, and this is called being gay. Other people may only be attracted to people of a different gender than themselves, and this is called being straight. Some people are attracted to both genders, and this is called being bisexual. Sexual orientation is something that people are born with - it's not a choice.
