Simulated consciousness

Simulated consciousness is the idea of creating a computer program that seems like it is thinking in the same way that humans do. It is something that scientists are working on, but they haven’t figured it out yet. Basically, it would mean that computers could act like they have real thoughts and feelings, like humans do.
