Skandha is a term from Buddhist teachings. It describes the five different ways that people experience the world and their place in it. Skandha literally means "aggregate" in Sanskrit, and it refers to a person's body (the physical form), feelings, perceptions, inclinations, and consciousness. Buddhists believe that these five aggregates make up the entire experience of a person's life. So, when you look around you at the world and yourself, it is the five skandhas that make it all up!
