The Socratic Method is a way of asking questions to learn more about a topic. It's named after a famous Greek philosopher called Socrates who used this method in his teaching. In the method, someone asking the questions tries to get the person they are talking to (or the students in the class) to think about a problem more deeply and figure out the answer for themselves. The person asking the questions does this by using questions that get the other person thinking instead of just giving them the answer directly. That way, the other person learns more.
