Soviet War Crimes are things that the Soviet Union (a big country in the middle of Europe and Asia that used to exist between 1922 and 1991) did wrong during a war, usually hurting civilians and breaking laws. Sometimes, the Soviets killed people without a proper trial or without good reason. Sometimes they made people do things they didn't want to do. They also took away the rights of people and caused a lot of destruction. All of this is wrong, and when countries do these kinds of things during a war, it is called a War Crime.
