Spaceport

A spaceport is a facility that is built to launch rockets into space. To launch a rocket, it needs a flat place for the rocket to take off from, so the spaceport includes an area with a concrete or asphalt runway, which is just like an airport runway. The spaceport also has places to check and service the rocket as well as a control tower to make sure the launch goes smoothly and safely. On top of that, they have special buildings and equipment to track the rocket while it is in space and to make sure it lands safely back at the spaceport.
