Spanish Empire

The Spanish Empire was an empire ruled by people from Spain and it existed from the 1500s until the 1900s. It was one of the biggest empires ever and it included places all around the world. The people from Spain were able to do this because they had ships and guns that were better than the ships and guns in other places. People from Spain would go to different places, they would take over the land, and they would become the rulers of that place. They would also bring their language, their religion, and their culture to the places they conquered. Eventually, when other countries became stronger, they were able to challenge the Spanish Empire, and the Spanish Empire eventually ended.
