Spirit (rover)

Spirit Rover is a robotic vehicle that was sent to Mars, which is a planet in the Solar System. It was sent by NASA, which stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The purpose of Spirit Rover was to drive around on Mars and take pictures and measure temperature and other things about Mars. The rover was able to communicate with scientists on Earth and also do experiments to learn more about the planet. Spirit Rover was able to operate on Mars for over 6 years, which is much longer than they expected.
