Straight pride

Pride means being happy and celebrating who you are. Straight pride is when some people who are not gay (which means they are attracted to people of the opposite gender) want to celebrate and show pride for being straight. It's like having a party or a parade to express how happy they are being straight. Some people think it's okay to have a straight pride because they think it's fair since gay people have pride events too. But some other people think it's not okay because being straight is already widely accepted and celebrated in most places, so there's no need for an extra celebration.
