ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Superficiality

Superficiality is when someone only looks at things in a very shallow or basic way. It is when someone only looks at the outside of something or someone, instead of looking deeper and seeing the truth. For example, when judging someone, instead of looking at the kind of person they are, a superficial person might just judge them on their looks or material things, like what clothes they wear or how rich they are.
