ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sustainable diet

A sustainable diet is a type of eating plan that tries to use as many natural and healthy foods as possible, while also being good for the environment. It helps to reduce pollution, prevent animal suffering, and conserve natural resources. Eating a sustainable diet means eating lots of fruits, vegetables, grains, and other plant-based foods, as well as limiting processed and other unhealthy foods with lots of sugar, salt, and fat. It also means buying foods that come from local farms and grocery stores, and eating foods that don't use too much water and energy to be produced.
