ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Thesis, antithesis, synthesis

Imagine you are playing with LEGO blocks, you start with a few blocks and build something, let's call it your "thesis." Then, you have a friend who wants to build something different with the same blocks, that's your "antithesis." But you can't agree on which one is better, so you decide to combine your two ideas into something new and even cooler, that's your "synthesis."

In simple terms, a "thesis" is an idea or statement that someone believes is true. An "antithesis" is an idea or statement that is the opposite of the thesis. A "synthesis" is a new idea or statement that combines the thesis and antithesis into something new and BETTER.

This might seem complicated, but it's actually a way of thinking that people use to understand complex ideas or arguments. It's like solving a puzzle by putting the pieces together to see the bigger picture.
