Underground hydrogen storage

Hydrogen underground storage is a way to store extra hydrogen when there is too much or when it is not being used. To store hydrogen underground, it is put into large containers, or tanks, which are buried deep in the ground. This is like burying food in a deep freezer so that it will stay cold and be available when it is needed again. Underground hydrogen storage is used because it takes up less space than storing it above ground, and it is generally safer and more environmentally friendly to store hydrogen this way.
