Urban secession

Urban secession is when a group of people in a city decide to form their own new city by separating from the city they currently live in. This usually happens when people in the city have different feelings or opinions that they don't think the original city agrees with. For example, an urban area could decide to form their own city if they don't think the original is taxing them fairly or if they would like different laws.
