Vegetarian sausage

Okay kiddo, do you know what sausages are? They are usually made from meat that comes from animals like pigs, cows or chickens. But some people don't want to eat meat for various reasons, so they make vegetarian sausages.

Now, instead of using meat, they use plant-based ingredients like beans, soy, vegetables, and grains to make the sausage. It's kinda like playing with play-doh, but instead of making shapes or animals, they shape the ingredients into the sausage shape. You can usually find them in the grocery store next to the meat sausages in the frozen or refrigerated section.

When you cook vegetarian sausage, you can fry them up just like you would meat sausages, or you can grill them, bake them or even put them in a soup or stew. Some people like to eat vegetarian sausage because it's healthier, has fewer calories and is better for the environment. Plus, it's a good option for people who can't or don't want to eat meat.
