Vermifilter

So, do you remember how we talked about composting and how it helps plants grow? Vermifilter is kind of like composting but for cleaning water instead of making soil better.

Vermifilter is a special filter that has a bunch of tiny worms living in it. These worms are called red wigglers and they help to break down things in the water that could be bad for animals and plants.

Whenever we use things like soap, oil, and chemicals, they can get into the water and hurt the animals and plants that live there. But the worms in the vermifilter help to eat up these bad things and leave only clean water behind.

So, whenever we want to clean dirty water, we can use a vermifilter to make that water better!
