Volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) are terms used to describe the world we live in today. VUCA stands for volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous.
Volatility means that things are changing constantly and rapidly. This means that what was happening in one moment might be completely different in the next moment!
Uncertainty means that there is no way to know what will happen in the future. We don't know the outcome of a situation.
Complexity means that there are many interrelated parts to a situation, and it can be hard to figure out how they all work together.
Ambiguity means that it can be hard to understand what is really happening in a certain situation. People might interpret things differently and you might not know how everyone else is understanding it.
