Volcaniclastics

Volcaniclastics are like a giant sandbox made out of rocks that come from volcanoes! You know how when you go to the beach and there's sand? Well, imagine if that sand was made out of tiny pieces of rocks that came from a volcano!

When a volcano erupts, it can shoot out a bunch of different things. One of those things is called volcanic ash, which is like really tiny pieces of rock that are really light and fluffy. When this ash settles on the ground, it can start to stick together and get compacted over time, kind of like how your sandcastle gets harder the longer you play with it.

But volcanoes don't just shoot out ash - they can also send out bigger pieces of rock called volcanic bombs. These are like big clumps of lava that got thrown into the air during an eruption! When these bombs land, they can break apart into smaller pieces and become a part of the volcaniclastic sand.

So, to summarize, volcaniclastics are basically sand made out of tiny pieces of rock that come from volcanoes. These rocks can range in size from tiny ash particles to big clumps of lava, and they all come together to create a unique environment full of interesting geologic features!
