Weighing scale

A weighing scale is a very special machine that helps us know how heavy or light something is. It tells us the weight in numbers that we can understand.

The weighing scale has a flat surface where we can place the thing we want to weigh. When we put an object on the scale, its weight presses down on the scale's surface. This weight is measured by a special device inside the scale, called a load cell.

The load cell is like a tiny little helper that can tell us how much, or how heavy the object is. It does this by giving signals to a very smart computer inside the weighing scale. The computer then calculates the weight, and shows us the answer on a screen.

We use weighing scales to measure different things like our own weight, the weight of fruits or vegetables we want to buy, or even the weight of big trucks before they go on a long journey.

In order to get accurate readings, it's important that the weighing scale is always on a flat surface and to not lean on it while weighing ourselves or anything else.

So, a weighing scale is like a magic machine that can tell us how heavy or light something is, and it does this using a special device inside it called a load cell.
