Wisdom of the crowd

Wisdom of the crowd is when lots of people make suggestions or guesses about something, and together their answers are often more accurate than any one person's answer on their own. For example, if you asked ten people what the capital city of France is, some of them might say Paris, some might say Lyon, and some might say Marseille. The wisdom of the crowd would be the answer that the most people said - which in this case would be Paris.
