Wrack zone

The wrack zone is where the land and the sea meet on a beach. It's the place where the waves of the ocean bring all sorts of interesting things like seaweed, sticks, shells, and other debris to the shore. This area is also called the "high tide line" because it's the place where the waves come up to when the tide is at its highest point.

Many different creatures live in and around the wrack zone. You might find snails, crabs, birds, and other animals that like to eat the things that wash up on the shore. These creatures depend on the wrack zone for their survival, and they help to keep the beach clean by eating the debris that accumulates there.

It's important to remember that the wrack zone is a delicate ecosystem, and we should try to keep it clean and healthy. That means we should avoid leaving trash or litter on the beach, and we should be careful not to step on any of the living creatures that call the wrack zone home. By taking care of the wrack zone, we can help preserve this important part of our natural world.
