ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Yoga (philosophy)

Yoga is like playing a game on a very special playground for your body and mind. It's kind of like stretching and exercising, but also a way of thinking and feeling that helps you be calm and happy.

In yoga, we do different poses that help us move and strengthen our bodies. Some poses are like animals, like downward dog or cat-cow, and some are like shapes, like triangle or warrior. We also practice breathing in a special way called "pranayama" which helps us feel relaxed and focused.

But yoga is more than just moving our bodies. It's also about how we think and feel. The philosophy of yoga teaches us to be kind to ourselves and others, to be honest, and to not get too attached to things. We learn to be aware of our thoughts and feelings, and how to notice and change them if they're not helpful.

Overall, yoga is a fun and healthy way to take care of our bodies and minds, and to learn how to be happy and peaceful.
