Air safety is when people make sure that when you fly in an airplane, you will be safe. To make sure you are safe, pilots and air traffic controllers make sure the airplane follows a certain set of rules and that they are aware of other airplanes in the area. People also make sure that the airplane is working properly and that it follows safety inspections before it takes off.
