Alchemy

Alchemy is an ancient practice that tried to turn ordinary things, like metals, into gold. Some alchemists also tried to find a way to make people live forever. People believed that if you could make gold, you had special powers. Sadly, alchemists were never able to make gold or find an elixir of life.
