Algorithmic radicalization

Algorithmic radicalization is when a computer algorithm uses your activities and interests to find out what kind of opinions you have, and then tries to get you to have more extreme opinions. It does this by showing you more extreme opinions (things you may not agree with) that it thinks you may agree with, and then doing this again and again. This can lead to people having more extreme beliefs than they normally would.
