ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anglo

"Anglo" is a word that is used to describe people who come from English-speaking countries like England, the United States, Canada, and Australia. It is often used to describe the culture and language of these countries, as well as the people who live there.

Imagine that you are playing with building blocks, and each block represents a different country. The blocks that represent English-speaking countries would be called "anglo" blocks.

When someone says that they are "anglo," it means that they are from one of these English-speaking countries. It is important to remember that just because someone is "anglo" doesn't mean that they are all the same. There are many different cultures and traditions within these countries, just like there are many different kinds of building blocks that can be used for different things.
