ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Biological organisation

Biological organisation is how all living things are organised. It is like a big pyramid with different levels. At the bottom of the pyramid are things like atoms and molecules. These are the smallest and most basic building blocks of life. Above that are cells. Cells are like tiny little factories which all living things are made of. Above that are tissues, organs, and organ systems. These are all different parts of living things that work together to help them grow and survive. At the very top of the pyramid are entire organisms like plants and animals. These entire organisms are made up of different tissues, organs, and organ systems all working together.
