Bisaya people

Bisaya people are a group of people who live in different parts of the Philippines, such as Visayas, Mindanao, and parts of Palawan. They speak a language called Bisaya or Cebuano, which is one of the most widely spoken languages in the Philippines. This language also has various dialects, which can differ slightly depending on the region.

Bisaya people have rich cultural traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. One common tradition is the celebration of fiestas, where the community comes together to celebrate various religious and cultural events. They also have a distinct cuisine, which includes dishes such as lechon (roast pig), kinilaw (a type of ceviche), and puto (a type of steamed rice cake).

Despite their shared culture and language, Bisaya people come from different ethnic backgrounds and have unique histories. They include the Cebuanos, Warays, Hiligaynons, and many more. The Bisaya people are known for their friendly and welcoming nature, and they are proud of their heritage and traditions.
